Medieval English cuisine has been on offer recently at the Rylands. The Forme of Cury, a Middle English cook book in the Rylands collection has been used to create some curious dishes including ‘Tart in Ymber Day’, ‘Compast’ and ‘Frumenty’. The BBC news report can be found here
